Destroy Global warming.....
The main reason i'm blogging about this is because i found out that lately the temperature is rising like mad. Everywhere i go its like being trapped in a green house and i could not stop sweating. This does not happen before to me, well i mean it happens when i walk a hell lot but it doesn't happen when i'm sitting down. But today, i can just sweat easily without even moving an inch and staying in my room with my ceiling fan on high and another stand fan on high.....What the hell is going on to our mother earth?? "GLOBAL WARMING"
Well, i guess you could call this global warming. For decades, Humans have been trying to be advance in all aspects of technology. Thanks to "we" humans, today, we have lots of technologies which enables human to extend their reach and achieve the impossible. With the wonderful creation of the Air Conditioner, aka A/C, everyone gets to use it to cool their temperature. Of course this is good for countries which have a moderate temperature of say, 25 or 26 degrees celcius??Not exactly accurate but i'll just state it as how i see it in my room's thermometer. Okay, back to the A/C....Everyone is so pampered by it and every single house now has to have air cond. At least 1 in every house. Everyone thinks that when the weather is hot, they'll just turn on the A/C and let it run until the next day, since the weather is so hot. But have they ever thought what damages does A/C does to our mother earth??Well, i'm not saying that everyone doesn't know and i'm trying to be some smart ass but I guess, having the A/C on overnight is something that shouldn't be done. Instead, I'll suggest people to set their A/C to be on timer which off after a certain period of time maybe for an hour or 2. This at least will help reduce the damage done to our atmosphere....considering how much chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) which the A/C releases.
Another arch enemy of the environment is the amount of carbon monoxide released to our air daily. I would say it is definately at the highest among all the other wasted oxides released to the air. All right, first thing which contributes to the damage of the air is because there is too many cars/buses/motorbikes/lorries or whatever transportation we have, created by mankind. Every possible piece of motor engines created are releasing ravenous gas which will damage our earth's atmosphere. And again, thanks to modern day marvels, we're given the ability to reach unreachable locations within seconds/minutes/hours/days/months/years easily. There's a saying : " Too much of anything, is bad for you." From this particular phrase, we can see that too much of basically anything will bring damage to you. I notice one thing about our homeland Malaysia is that, we have too many vehicle in our nation. Every house has to have at least 2 cars and it has become such a normal thing today. Now, everyone who owns a car drives to work. I'm not saying that a person should not drive to work but instead, one can always car pull. This will help reduce the amount of carbon monoxides released by each car. If we are able to do this, we have played a major role in helping to save our environment. Every little aspect counts in helping to save our earth. This will also help reduce the amount of traffic jam in Malaysia.
"Modern technology owes ecology an apology." quoted by Alan M. Eddison. I came across this quote while reading through some articles regarding about global warming and i find it a very straightforward and instantaneous message sent out to us all. With the number of technology we have today, we're hurting our own earth more and more, deeper and deeper. What we all should do today, is play our part in helping to save the earth, what ever that we can reduce, we reduce. Whatever that we can save, we save too. There's only one place for us humans to live in and that is our own earth. If we do not do our part to save our earth then who will??It is a place we live and it is also our responsibility to look after it.
Down with global warming. Down with pollution.

First trip after exam.....Y2S1
Whoa whoa whoa....was suppose to blog about this excitement about the finish of exams on cinco de mayo, but then was kinda filled with activities like watching movie and all too tired to blog after all those....So i finally got to blog about it now...
Okay, nothing much happened on the 5th of May...so nothing to blog about here.....
Moving onto the
6th of May, Cloudy with a tad bit of haze
Chapter - 1
Woo hoo hoo......This is the day when all of us went for our Genting trip. There was nothing special or planned actually as we just make up this decision quite last minute. So, everything was so spontaneous and what ever happens, well, happens.... =)
By right, we decided to go up with 2 batch as we wanted to check into the room earlier as the check in time is after 12pm and before 3pm, so, yanfong, Calying and me, the 4 of us decided to go up earlier while the other batch will be pauleen, cute lil yokefun, and yeefong.
Thanks to "someone" we ended up being late....and we just can see the bus leave just like that leaving the 4 of us behind.... -_-||| haha, but then again it wasn't really all her fault as i was suppose to be blamed for being in the toilet too....was having stomach ache....so don't blame me ok?? =p
Then we took our journey to KL sentral. Guess who pops out while crossing the traffic light, its funfun, and we were quite surprised and so does she. =) then along came pauleen and we met yeefong at last at pekeliling station.
Twas a coincident that we all are meant to go up genting at the same time =)
Chapter - 2
- We sat on this really hot sauna bus and the air cond was not even working properly. But we manage to survive through the sauna too and we finally reach a part where the bus driver went "initial-d" craze that he started drifting the whole bus swinging to the left and to the right. LOL.
- Twas a slow ride up the roads but we manage to reach and finally after some time of trapped air, we stepped out onto a world full of fresh air (well not 100% but maybe 43%??) and it actually felt alot more better....phew =D
- We didn't did much but checked into our hotel rooms (Genting theme park hotel) and rested awhile before started going out for some afternoon stroll. The air was amazing and sensational as it was cool and misty, finally after so many months of polluted air from PJ and also the crazy heat wave going around...What a relief man =)
- After awhile, this really noisy friend aka pauleen was really annoying as she was complaining how hungry she was and still so fussy choosing on what to eat. So we finally settled down to eat at this place called "Only Mee". Quite a unique name actually...I never even thought of a name like that..hahaha....Oh yea, the green curry thai mee was sensational and finally the most bising one is full.
- During nightfall, we of course hungry mates will settle for "buffet style" dinner only because it is worth what we will be eating. So we settled in this restaurant where we went during our last trip also. (Kampung restaurant,Resort cafe according to citations from Ms Gaikying) We went in quite early as to get this 20% discount and we can eat all we want until what ever time we want. The food was quite disappointing compared to last time's Raya festive season. But then, the number of people eating there is like getting more and more from time to time and (not to be discriminating) but there were so many Indians lining / queuing up for food. So of course, us GOOD SAMARITANS, left early to let them have our place.
- Next was quite boring as we kind of walk around the whole of genting to find some place to settle down and just get a toast of fresh air and chat. Seems like us broadcasting bunch just could not sit still. We will still need to run up and down. Took some pictures too and i'll upload it during my next post. Finally decided to settle in starbucks later for some coffee and tea chat and thanks to the admirable Keantung. Had quite alot of stories from Keantung's high school life. LOL, he's a very admirable person, Keantung, to u I SALUTE!!!!
- We went on and on chatting until quite late and calvin says that he wanted to get pizza as there's this quite good pizza place. After that, we returned to our respective rooms. Took our relaxing shower and actually getting ready to sleep but then cute lil funfun came in just in time to (continue) our nightly chat....chat chat chat till late....which is 5 am...
- Finally only we decided to get some shut eye.
Chapter - 3
~ Slept like a pig till 10.30 am but was continuously disturbed by the screeching of people playing in the theme park. (P.s Never get a room beside the theme park unless you really plan to play there real early the next morning) It was quite torturing as i get a number of dreams when the bells keep ringing down the theme park. I dreamt that i was having my scrumptious meal in an island and this cruise boat was blowing the horn hell out of me telling me it is time to go.
~ Well, basically we didn't did much on the next day also but we went for some more pictures. (P.s better quality pics will only be posted on my next blog) Oh yea, we went for this superman ride where its a roller coaster but we're lying down and it felt like flying. It was fun and exciting but i would definately not recommend it to people with weak back to sit. I did have a little pain after the ride. But overall, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Nice ride.
~ Ok, we finally decided to go back and only manage to get the 5pm bus. On the bus, we're playing this pass and repeat out the message. We sat at the end of the bus and out came this aunty grabbing a bunch of newspapers and sitting on the floor just infront and beside of us. As usual, we played and played, and we did get quite noisy a little, but suddenly she started saying that we are all so noisy and complains that everyone in the bus is not noisy except for us. Not only that, she said that girls shouldn't be so crazy and wild and should just stay as the old style decent and quiet kind of girl. 0.o Yeefong, was the girl she was referring to and thank god she controlled her temper if not, maybe that aunty will not have any hair left from the pulling hair ability she has =D
~ We departed after reaching pekeliling and went home to our respective homes. =) What an adventure....LOL
